Building relationships and growing your audience

One of the main core functions of email marketing and the very foundation of growing your business is building relationships and growing your audience.
There are a number of ways to build your email list here are a few suggestions for you.

Add a sign up form to your website
Your sign up form must be designed well and optimized correctly with your compelling copy. Then place your form in strategic locations throughout your website.

Collect email addresses
When you’re at a networking event or conference, or even just waiting in line at the grocery store you can collect email addresses or direct people to your website.

I use an app on my smart phone that connects directly to my website to add people to my list. I simply ask the person I am speaking to if they want me to send them more information.

Nothing should stop you from growing your email list – especially when you’re on the go.

Build your list by writing a guest blog post, hosting a webinar, or by attending meet and greets.

When you have great, valuable content, it’s important to put yourself out there.

The best way to grow your email list is by getting in front of potential subscribers and share your story.
